About Us
With over two decades of experience, David Sharpe, Owner and Operations Manager of Check Mark Utiliity Locates Inc., is a certified S.U.E. Technician for the damage prevention of underground utilities. He is a member of the ORCGA (Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance) with a damage-free history and has been managing and training technicians for over 25 years. His expertise in the field allows him to effectively lead and manage both large and small-scale projects from start to finish.
Our Story
After 15 years of working as a Subsurface Utility Engineer (S.U.E.) Technician and Supervisor, David realized there was no more opportunity for advancement in the company where he was working. So, he decided to start his own business doing what he loved, and Check Mark Utility Locates was born.
Since starting in 2014, Check Mark Utility Locates has gained many clients working as a sub-contractor for many companies on large and small-scale projects throughout the GTA. In 2016, the business become officially incorporated and has continued to see positive feedback from our many sub-consultants and clients throughout the years.
Today, Check Mark Utility Locates Inc. continues to work closely with our clients, offering Subsurface Utility Engineering (S.U.E.) services to help increase the understanding of underground utilities for project owners, utility owners, designers, engineers, and contractors.
Our expert S.U.E. team manages all aspects of utility relocations and redesigns, including avoiding and resolving utility conflicts and addressing construction issues.
